The interior of the venue has an all-black color scheme with red contrasts, creating a mysterious vibe. So, you will have no difficulty spotting the venue. The brand logo and name are displayed right at the entrance. The facility has a posh white exterior with glass doors and windows. I had a really good time, and I'm happy that I went, and I'll try to come back soon. The Escape Game, Orlando is located at 8145 International Drive, Suite 511 Orlando, FL 32819. The staff is very helpful during the games, and show a high level of enthusiasm in explaining what the customers might have missed and explaining the lore, and technical features of the rooms. TL DR - This place is really, really sweet - and I hope that the next time I find myself in Orlando, I'll be able to do some if not all of the remaining rooms, because I'm sure that they'll be just as cool as the one's we've tried. After solving the room, I was too dumbfounded to actually ask any of the questions that I had- It's just a really unique experience, and I wish I would've understood the way the room worked on a technical level because it was so unlike anytrhing that I've experienced. Good creepy/scary rooms are really hard to find. In a way, I just wish the game would've lasted longer. Wholeheartedly can recommend this to anyone looking for a different escape-room experience, or for those who are in Orlando in October. It's not scary, so kids will enjoy, but it has all the right vibes- especially if you play it in the evening. I am a horror junkie, and spent the 90-or-so minutes with the widest grin on my face. I can see virtually everyone enjoying this, because it is heavily story-driven, and gives you a ghost-hunting experience. Whereas most escape rooms rely on locks, codes, logical puzzles, Fright Before your Eyes relies on one's ability to gather contextual clues and find the right item (which is "haunted"). Very impressive stuff, especially for a venue that's not part of a franchised chain.įright before your eyes is a perfect introduction to escape rooms. After the game she would point out any of the stuff we missed, and explained to us the way the various mechanisms worked. Like my brother, she is also a huge Sherlock Holmes fan. We got stuck in this one a lot, and our game master was extremely helpful. It's really like you're in a late victorian-era study. Like the other escape room, the theming in this one is great. I'm more of a hands-on person, than the cerebral type, but I can't deny that trying to solve the mind map was really fun. My brother is a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes and got really into solving the case Each puzzle you solve gives you a clue, and you need to collect them all and try to figure out the location, time, motive and the primary suspect. However, any fans of Sherlock will both love this escape room, and also be at a significant advantage over those who might have seen only the Guy Ritchie movies. Sherlock's Study is a typical escape room in the sense of it being more reliant on locks, puzzles, and codes. The escape effect venue is very impressive, clean and the staff is knowledgeable and very professional. All were amazing for different reasons, but the one that stood out the most to us, in terms of experience were the Sherlock themed one, and Fright Before your Eyes. We actually did a total of three games at this place over the course of a week.
